Luke Alvey
Director/Cinematographer/Editor
Luke Alvey started Alvey Creative 8 years ago with the goal in mind of creating a full service video production company. He has been working as a cinematographer, producer, director, and editor for those 8 years, gaining professional experience in new media and capturing stunning imagery. His love for the craft of creating high quality video has driven him and Alvey Creative to become what it is today, a nimble and quick agency that is great at storytelling. He grew up around commercial, corporate, and television production, so it’s no wonder that he chose it as his career. He has a bachelor's degree in Cinema and Television from Southern Methodist University. Luke has worked on projects for major companies and networks such as; PepsiCo, Google, McLane, Dell, NIKE, HP, HGTV, High Noon Entertainment, Essilor Vision Care, Denbury, SMU Meadows School of the Arts Marketing Department, and more.
Michael Alvey
Producer/Director
Michael R. Alvey is a freelance producer and director with over thirty-five years of experience in the field of multi media communications. His practical experience is based in both broadcast and corporate video production. Along with a Master’s degree in communication, Michael has studied directing and videography, on the campus of the American Film Institute in Hollywood, California. In addition to his production training, Michael also holds a minor in art. Prior to starting his freelance career Michael spent eight years at Fire & Rain Agency as the Director of Digital Media. Before that he spent seven years producing the very popular television program “My Classic Car”, which was shown nationally on the SpeedNetwork. Other shows Michael has worked on were “Corbin’s Ride On”and“Popular Hot Rodding Television”.Before producing Television shows, Michael spent 15 years with Mead Johnson Nutritionals / Bristol-Myers Squibb developing corporate multi media programs and producing national meetings. He has traveled widely over the continental U.S., Canada and Mexico.
